Gently Exfoliate and Renew Your Skin With HydraFacial™

Everyone wants skin that glows and looks healthy and moisturized. But finding the right treatments can sometimes be a challenge. If you are looking for a treatment that is suitable for all skin types from sensitive to oily and you don’t want something that comes with downtime, you can consider a HydraFacial treatment.

At Resurgence Med Spa in Houston, TX, we love providing treatments that not only help you to look more radiant but also promote the health of your skin. HydraFacials can be a great treatment because they offer these benefits to a wide variety of patients. They are relaxing and can help treat many different concerns.

What Is a HydraFacial?

The HydraFacial is a non-invasive facial treatment that uses gentle exfoliation, chemical peeling, and hydration to achieve a beautiful and refreshing result. It incorporates several different treatments and steps into one session and is both relaxing and nourishing for all different skin types.

5 HydraFacial Benefits

Benefit 1: Cleansing

Before your treatment, we will clean any makeup or debris from your face using the Activ™ Foaming Cleanser. This is a special HydraFacial cleansing product that begins the process of nourishing your skin while also ensuring that your face is perfectly clean and prepared for the steps that will follow.

Benefit 2: Exfoliation

HydraFacial uses a very gentle chemical peel to exfoliate the skin and remove the very outer layer. Different solutions can be used based on the oiliness or congestion of your skin. We typically use the Activ-4™ serum or the Glysal™ serum to help reveal the glowing and healthy skin underneath.

Benefit 3: ExtractionÂ

After your skin is exfoliated, we move on to the extraction stage of your treatment. The HydraFacial platform features a unique Vortex-Fusingâ„¢ technology to extract the pores. This method is a much gentler way of extracting the pores than traditional methods. During this stage, we use the Beta-HDâ„¢ serum to make the process even more effective.

Benefit 4: Hydration

Once your skin is exfoliated and extracted, it can absorb more moisture and nutrients. At this stage, we apply a hydrating serum called Antiox+â„¢ to the skin to nourish it. This serum contains many beneficial ingredients such as peptides to stimulate collagen and hyaluronic acid to provide hydration.

Benefit 5: Protection

Protecting your skin is an essential part of the process because your skin will be more sensitive after the exfoliation process. We apply a gentle moisturizer and an SPF cream to ensure that your skin is protected from the sun as you leave our office.

HydraFacial Add-Ons

HydraFacials can include optional add-ons that can be helpful for different skin types and conditions. These steps are included at different stages of the process.

Lymphatic Drainage

If your lymphatic system becomes congested, it can be harder for your body to remove toxins and bacteria from the area. It can also cause you to have sinus pain and it can contribute to skin laxity and fine lines. We use gentle suction and massage with the HydraFacial platform to drain your lymphatic system and promote lymph flow.

Boosters

Many different boosters can be added after the exfoliation step to target any skin concerns that you have. Some of our booster options include serums that include additional anti-aging benefits, brightening serums, boosters for acne-prone skin, and more. Boosters can increase facial rejuvenation for any type of skin.

LED Light Treatments

LED treatments can be used during and after your treatment. Different LED treatments can be used to improve acne-prone skin, reduce redness, and more.

What Types of Skin Concerns Can a HydraFacial Treat?Â

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

By hydrating and nourishing the skin, HydraFacial can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The serums and boosters used during the treatment can also deliver anti-aging benefits to the skin.

Dull Skin

If you have dull skin that no longer has a healthy glow, this treatment is a brightening facial that can restore your natural glow. The cleansing, exfoliating, and hydrating steps can all leave your skin feeling and looking more refreshed.

Sun Damage

With the infusion of healing ingredients such as peptides and antioxidants, HydraFacial can help your body to fight and heal sun damage and it promotes the growth of healthier skin.

Acne-Prone Skin

HydraFacial exfoliates dead skin cells which can clog pores. It also extracts oil, dirt, and bacteria from pores to prevent future breakouts. Finally, LED treatments can help kill any remaining bacteria that can lead to breakouts.

Scalp, Lip, and Hand Health

HydraFacial isn’t just for the face. It can also be used to treat the scalp, hands, lips, and other areas. Different tips are used to target these areas and multiple locations can be treated during one session. HydraFacial sessions can help promote hair growth in the scalp by increasing circulation. For lips, it can provide a gentle exfoliation leaving them plumper and smoother.

Treat Your Skin to a HydraFacial Treatment

Even if you have a great skincare routine, everyone needs a little facial rejuvenation every once in a while. Not only can facials make your skin feel better, but they can also be very relaxing. When you have less stress and give yourself time to relax, it can increase your skin health even more.

Non-invasive facials such as the HydraFacial treatment are a great way to make your skin feel much better and look much healthier. With our nourishing and brightening facials at Resurgence Med Spa, you can leave our office feeling pampered and refreshed.
